Delete your account

You can delete your SwypeCast account yourself at any time, in the app or on the web. Deletion is final and cannot be undone.

In the app

1. Open the Account tab.
2. Tap Delete account at the bottom.
3. Confirm with your password. If you only sign in with Google or Apple, confirm with your email address instead.
4. Tap Delete account permanently.

On the web

1. Sign in at swypecast.com (Login at the top right).
2. Click your name or photo at the bottom left of the sidebar. This opens your account.
3. Scroll to Delete account and enter your password; without a password (Google or Apple only) enter your email address.
4. Click Delete account permanently.

What is deleted

• Immediately: your account with email address, name, profile picture, password, sign-in methods, memberships and the device tokens for notifications. You are signed out on all devices.
• After 30 days: organisations in which you are the only member are closed when you delete and removed permanently after 30 days, with all stories, clips, media, campaigns, comments and reactions. The stories are no longer publicly reachable from the moment you delete. Purchased AI credits expire without refund.
• Kept: organisations with other members keep their content; only your membership is removed. Invoices and accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires.

If you are the only admin of an organisation with other members, make someone else an admin first (Settings → Team). Otherwise the deletion is refused and names the organisation.

Deletion by email

If you can no longer access your account, write from your account's email address to support@swypecast.com with the subject "Delete account". We delete the account as described above, within 30 days at the latest, and confirm the deletion by email. If anything is unclear we ask back first, so nobody can delete someone else's account.
